Oct 2012 – May 2015 : Sami, Patan
Presided as JMFC over various types of criminal cases including those filed under the Domestic violence Act, Maintenance applications filed under s. 125 of the CrPC, Negotiable Instruments Act and so on. Presided as Principal Civil Judge, Sami and conducted various civil matters including those filed under Land laws, Transfer of Property Act, Bombay Land Revenue Code and so on.
May 2015 – May 2018: Baroda
Presided as JMFC over various types of criminal cases. During this time I was also designated as Principal Magistrate, Juvenile Justice Board, Vadodara. In the said capacity I have conducted more than 3000 cases under the Juvenile Justice Act and disposed off more than 2800 cases in the span of 2 years. At that point of time, this was the highest number of cases disposed off in the state of Gujarat, under the JJ Act. The judgments passed by me under the said law have attempted to clarify and settle the challenging provisions of the same.
May 2018 to October 2019 : Gandhinagar
Presided as Civil Judge and JMFC. Later, was also given the additional charge as Principal Magistrate, Juvenile Justice Board, Gandhinagar.
Oct 2019 – Oct 2021: Mansa
Presided as Principal Civil Judge and JMFC, Mansa. During this time, I have conducted more than 3,500 civil as well as criminal cases. Also, I had disposed off more than 200 cases within a span of one month, relating to lockdown FIRs filed under section 188 of the IPC. The judgments given by me in the said lockdown cases were upheld by the District Sessions Judge, Gandhinagar and an article regarding the same was also reported by the media.
Oct 2021 to Present: Ahmedabad
After resigning from the position of a judicial officer, I have again started practicing as an independent advocate before the hon’ble High Court of Gujarat. With my vast years of experience in the field of litigation, my interest and expertise, I represent litigants in various types of cases, ranging from civil to criminal matters, service matters to labour matters, matrimonial disputes, company cases including those filed under the IBC, indirect tax laws, intellectual property rights, alternate dispute resolution forums, and so on.
